(wood tube table radio)

Zenith 8-H-832 AM/FM (1948)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is a rare Zenith. In 50 years of collecting I have seen one. Built for the 1948 market with eight tubes and a beautiful walnut cabinet. The brass area in front is super and the pushbuttons are excellent. Has AM/FM/FM1 on the dial. Yes, two FM bands. One that we use today and the earlier Armstrong band. Sounds fantastic on AM and FM. The dial lights up like a moon rise. Very nice in any room. Has been rebuilt with new capacitors and checked overall. New wiring where needed. All tubes checked and replaced if needed. Has been aligned overall. Proudly made in the USA. 17"W x 14"H x 8-1/2"D.
