Philco 71 Cathedral (1932)
(wood tube cathedral radio)

Philco 71 Cathedral (1932)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

The model 71 was an update to Philco's incredibly popular model 70 and featured a brand-new cabinet with high-efficiency tubes. You'll find a lot of model 70 Philco radios before you find a 71, so it's a great radio to start or complete your collection. Nothing is more iconic of the Golden Age of radio than a Philco cathedral. No expense was spared in the total restoration of this radio. It looks and performs flawlessly and previously won 2nd place honors in a prestigious antique radio competition of cathedral sets. I'm going to miss displaying this one in my permanent collection but it's time for someone else to appreciate it. This radio weighs 24 pounds; 18"H x 15-1/2"W x 10-1/2"D.
