Zenith R511-V "Broadway" (1954)
(plastic tube table radio)

Zenith R511-V "Broadway" (1954)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This Zenith is about as beautiful as it gets, especially in red! The nickname for it is "Broadway" and you can certainly see why! It is a big hit! The red color is made into the plastic; it is not a painted radio. The most common to this series is burgundy, with the most collectible being this red one. So very shiny and it receives AM broadcast stations very well. The dial is backlit and ingeniously the dial light follows the metal dial indicator, warmly glowing through the case, making it one of the coolest radios to tune in the dark! A small stress crack is in the very most center back top rear, which is quite typical for virtually every polystyrene plastic radio of this era. I have never seen a Broadway that didn't have this. You?ll likely never find one this nice that plays this well and in the most rare of all colors, red. The case and metal accents have been carefully polished and the electronics have been restored for years of enjoyment. You are going to love owning this one! 11-3/4"W x 5-3/4"H x 5-3/4"D.
