Silvertone 4421 (1936)
(wood tube table radio)

Silvertone 4421 (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Nice cube shape and the round gold dial collectors love. This model started its life as a farm radio and likely during the "rural electrification" that began in the farmlands around 1936, was converted to operate on regular AC power, with the addition of a transformer, rectifier tube and the elimination of the vibrator. Beautiful radio and it appears to be the first model 4421 offered on The Attic. This lovely cabinet has been refinished using the finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a lovely finish. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs and it is internally fused for your safety), and it plays very nicely on the AM Broadcast band. 14"W x 11-3/4"H x 9"D.
