Stewart-Warner 1161 "Skyscraper" (1933)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

Stewart-Warner 1161 "Skyscraper" (1933)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This stunning Art Deco influenced cabinet with the desirable "Skyscraper" stepped top is being offered for the first time on The Attic. The finish on the cabinet was restored a few years ago by the previous owner and looked way too good to refinish again, so it was carefully polished to bring out the beautiful wood grain and colors. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs and it is internally fused for your safety), and it plays very nicely on the AM broadcast band and also has the old Police band, which isn't much in use today. Both the band switch and tone switch are located on the rear of the radio. 12-1/4"H x 9-1/2"W x 7-1/2"D.
