Remler 21-3 "Minuette" Cathedral AM/PB (1932)
(wood tube cathedral radio)

Remler 21-3 "Minuette" Cathedral AM/PB (1932)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

A very small, early cathedral from the San Francisco California based manufacturer, Remler. The Minuette had several cabinet designs, and in my opinion, this particular one is the most desirable. This model is not often seen on The Radio Attic and some consider it scarce. Though just a four-tube set, it plays loudly through its 8-inch speaker and also has a tone control. This cabinet has been lovingly refinished using the very finest lacquers, producing a beautiful luster. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs and is internally fused for your safety), has new period specific grille cloth and a new period specific cloth covered power cord with a Bakelite plug. It plays very nicely on the AM broadcast band, picking up all my local stations. It also has the Police band, which is no longer used today. As always, I've included plenty of antenna wire for good reception. 13"H x 10-1/4"W x 7"D.
