Packard-Bell 46E (1938)
(wood tube table radio w/SW)

Packard-Bell 46E (1938)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Nice six-tube set with an unusual bright green magic tuning eye with two independent shadows. Stationized dial, all displayed for West of the Mississippi, which you'd expect from a radio manufactured in Los Angeles CA. Nice waterfall top, rounded sides and speaker grille fins, all complimentary in design. I believe this is the first time a model 46E has been offered on The Attic. The cabinet has been refinished using the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a gorgeous luster. The dial cover has been replaced with a new one so that you can enjoy the stationized dial and tuning eye. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new polarized power cord), and it plays very nicely on both the AM broadcast band and the shortwave band. I have also added an MP3 audio input so you can listen to your own selected music. 16-1/4"W x 9-1/2"H x 6-3/4"D.
