THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
One of the most highly regarded manufacturers of its day, Detrola Radio and Television of Detroit, Michigan. Broad frequency coverage (Broadcast 540-1700 KC, Short-Wave 1: 1.7-5.5 MC, Short-Wave 2: 5.5-16 MC) with wonderful tonal response thanks to its large Rola speaker. The cabinet has been refinished using the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a gorgeous luster, paying respect to the original detailed finish and it has a new clear dial cover. The electronics on this six-tube superhet have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new polarized power cord), and it plays very nicely on both the AM and shortwave bands. I have added an MP3 input so you may listen to your own supplied music if you wish. 17-1/4"W x 11-3/4"H x 9"D. |
