Delco R-1128 AM/SW (1938)
(wood tube table radio w/SW)

Delco R-1128 AM/SW (1938)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Not often seen is this seven-tube superhet beauty by United Motors (known today as ACDelco). New bright and mesmerizing green eye tube, always a hit in a dimly lit room with friends. Three bands (AM, Police and Shortwave) and with its large 6-inch speaker and tonal control, the sound it emanates is superb. The cabinet has been refinished using the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a gorgeous luster, paying homage to the original detailed finish. The set retains its original wood knobs. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new power cord), and it plays very nicely on both the AM and shortwave bands. I have added an MP3 input so you may listen to your own supplied music if you wish, such as Glen Miller and Kay Kyser. 18-1/2"W x 11-3/4"H x 8-3/4"D.
