THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
A difficult set from Buffalo NY to come by. It looks looks similar to their models 650 and 653, which are much more common. The cabinet has been refinished using the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a gorgeous luster, paying respect to the original detailed finish with its inlay veneers and metal accent strips. Just gorgeous! The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new period correct cloth power cord and Bakelite plug), and it plays very nicely on the AM & Shortwave bands. Tonal control and band switch in the rear, volume, tuning and antenna attenuator on the front, all far superior for its time. I have added an MP3 input should you wish to listen to your own music. 14-3/4"H x 12"W x 7-1/2"D. |
