Halson 100M "Bullet" (1936)
(wood tube table radio)

Halson 100M "Bullet" (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

I don't know when I have ever seen such a beautiful "bullet" styled radio. This Halson 100M is being offered for the first time on The Radio Attic. Difficult to find and is the first one I have ever seen. Halson of New York produced some of the most prolific examples of Art Deco influenced radios ever seen. I had to research this model to determine how it should be restored to do it justice. The cabinet has been refinished using the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a voluptuous luster, paying respect to the original detailed finish with the ever so light edge darkening as original. The set retains its original knobs and has new grille cloth. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new polarized power cord), and it plays very nicely on both the AM band. I have added an MP3 input so you may listen to your own supplied music if you wish. 12-5/8"w x 8-1/8"H x 7"D.
