Trav-Ler 521 (1935)
(wood tube table radio w/SW)

Trav-Ler 521 (1935)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Offered for the first time on The Radio Attic is this nice little Trav-Ler. As a TRF set, most were designed for use within cities where nearby radio stations were plentiful and signals were strong. Lovely colorful back-lit dial remains very crisp and detailed. This smallish cabinet has been refinished using the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a finish depicting the same color contrasts when new. It retains its original grille cloth, original knobs, original cloth covered antenna wire and has the brass Trav-Ler tag on the front. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, it is internally fused for your safety and has a new polarized line cord), and it plays nicely on the AM band and also has a shortwave band, though most shortwave stations have now migrated to the internet. 10-1/4"W x 7"H x 5-1/8"D.
