| This wonderful Majestic model 50 is making its debut on the The Attic for the 1st time. In all my years of collecting, this is the first one I've seen. Same bezel design as its bigger brothers, same carved original wooden knobs, but in a smaller cabinet. Beautiful dial and a lovely set, even has its wooden back, original hank of antenna wire and instruction sheet. This cabinet has been refinished using the very finest wood grain filler and lacquers, producing a wonderful luster, paying respect to the original detailed finish, with accents on the veneer inlays. Grille cloth was replaced with new period specific fabric. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety) and for a TRF, it plays nicely on the AM band & Shortwave band with the included length of antenna wire. A solid compliment to anyone's collection! 12-3/4"W x 8-5/8"H x 6-1/2"D. |
