Crosley 167 "Dual Fiver" (1934)
(wood tube cathedral radio w/SW)

Crosley 167 "Dual Fiver" (1934)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Lovely depression era five-tube eye catching mini cathedral. I suppose I'm prejudiced, but I think this is one of the finest looking cathedrals Crosley ever made. The front inlay veneers jump out and grab your eyes and the striking color contrast keeps your attention! This gorgeous cabinet was refinished using the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a wonderful luster, accenting the beautiful veneer inlays and black accents. All the capacitors have been replaced with modern types, out of tolerance resistors replaced, tubes checked and replaced where needed, antenna lead installed, and a new fused power cord installed. Original knobs and new period correct replacement grille cloth. It plays very nicely on both the AM broadcast band and the now defunct Police band. Whether this will be your first cathedral radio, or you have many, this is sure to be a cornerstone of your collection! I do accept mailed checks and PayPal as payment. 14"H x 11-1/2"W x 7-3/4"D.
