THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Looks like the Philco "Hippo," but is not. S-C made quality radios and this is the same age as me! 1951. All tubes checked/replaced as needed, most capacitors and resistors replaced, new IF transformer, cleaned inside and out, tuning lubed. Case has no cracks or chips, no rodent damage inside. There is a little paint missing on a dial number, and I don't think the knobs are correct, but a lot better looking than the originals. Plays well and if you string out the included wire length for external antenna, does really well. Schematic and alignment data included. Original full paper label still on original back. Deal of a price!
