THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This is a five-tube AM-only set with a transformer, made by the Stewart Warner Corp. of Chicago, Illinois. Somewhat unusual is the use of the light chocolate-colored knobs, which seem to be original. This radio retains its original back; many of this era were discarded or lost, even with the loop antenna. The radio has been electronically restored, and is working well. The finish is restored original; it is in fair shape, with scratches and fading. Be aware that I think the photos look better than the radio itself, though it is not too bad. All the old paper and electrolytic capacitors were replaced, and other components as necessary. The power cord and plug are original and in good condition. About 14"W x 8-1/2"H x 7"D. |
