General Electric F-53 (1937)
(wood tube table radio)

General Electric F-53 (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Zebra wood veneer sets off this 1937 GE. The five-tube chassis has a NOS power transformer, new wax/paper capacitors, tested resistors and tubes. Lacquer toner and a hand rubbed semi-gloss clear were used to refinish the cabinet. This is a two-band set that plays very well on AM, but the old police/aircraft band is now obsolete.
