Channel Master 6512 (1959)
(plastic transistor portable radio w/SW)

Channel Master 6512 (1959)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Vintage 1959 Channel Master 6512 AM/SW eight-transistor radio. Nice working; restored with all brand new electrolytic capacitors. Tuned circuits, and new heavy duty battery clip, and new four "AA" battery holder (batteries not included). There are no chips, cracks, or dents. The radio is clean inside and out. This is a real DX'er on both bands. The AM band covers the standard AM broadcast from 540 KHz to 1600 KHz. The Shortwave band covers from 3.9 MHz to 12 MHz. I have received CHU, WWV, Hams, and a lot of other foreign stations without an outside antenna. The radio dial has the old CD markings. The radio does come with a leather case that could use some stitching. Shipping: flat rate $12 Domestic only.
