Emerson R156 Tombstone (1937)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

Emerson R156 Tombstone (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Up for sale is a five-tube Emerson from 1937. It has a standard broadcast band and a police band which doesn't pick anything up in today's world. We went through this radio and replaced all the capacitors, put in new electrolytic capacitors, checked and replaced out of tolerance resistors, checked the tubes, put in a new dial cover and aligned the radio for peak performance. This radio has a nice walnut Ingraham cabinet refinished by Gary Marvin.
