RCA 128 Cathedral (1935)
(wood tube cathedral radio w/SW)

RCA 128 Cathedral (1935)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

With its arched top and sculptured shoulders, RCA blended cathedral and tombstone styles into this beautiful model 128. RCA was known for looks and performance and this is the nicest model 128 we have seen here at Joe's Radio Shop. This six-tube, three-band (BC, SWx2) radio receives broadcasts with great tone and sensitivity. All of the original paper capacitors have been replaced with new long-lasting Mylar capacitors. The tubes and resistors were tested and replaced as needed. A safety fuse and audio cable were installed, and a precise alignment was performed to give you years of listening pleasure. Gary has taken extra care in refinishing this iconic cabinet with the proper lacquer, grain filler and toners for a "factory-fresh" finish. The chassis, speaker and knobs are original to the set, and a correct reproduction grille cloth has been installed. This is a very large radio that will be the centerpiece of any collection. 20"H x 16-3/4"W x 12"D.
