THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Jackson-Bell was a Los Angeles radio manufacturer that started radio production in 1926. The company ceased operations in 1933, but not before creating some very iconic radios. The Peter Pan, Swan, Tulip and Sunrise just to name a few. The Jackson-Bell 62 is a six-tube, AM only TRF set. It has great sensitivity across the AM dial. The capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents. The tubes and resisters have been checked and replaced where necessary. A safety fuse and a new cloth power cord were installed. An external input is available by request at an additional charge. The walnut with maple trim cabinet was stripped and refinished to a gorgeous semi-gloss finish. The original knobs, speaker and chassis are with the radio. This is a beautiful example of the collectable "Swan" model, perfect for that perfect collection! 15"H x 12-1/2"W x 8"D. |
