Emerson 707 "Sunburst" (1952)
(Plaskon tube table radio)

Emerson 707 "Sunburst" (1952)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

An incredible condition "Sunburst" Emerson with upper rayed grille and Plaskon case is absolutely pristine! Some call it plastic, some Plaskon, while others refet to it as Urea. It's been recapped, of course and tuned. All original five tubes are very strong. It plays really well and provides a subtle light show, too! It is beautiful and off the scale like-new! Emerson made some of the most compact tube radios over the years. This example is only 6"H x 4-3/4"W x 4-7/8"D, but houses a complete All American Five chassis with a 4-inch speaker. The cabinet is free of any damage and has a good original surface finish. The chassis has been fully restored, with all new capacitors, etc., and no performance issues of any kind. The factory sticker with tube layout is in fine shape on the bottom. Absolutely no scratches, nicks, repairs. Very clean chassis. Replacement back in great condition. The small knob on the lower right is the on/off volume control, and the circular star pattern in the lower left of the grille is the pilot light. This very compact radio will be cheap to ship and take up very little space in your displays.
