Here is a beautiful, restored & seldom seen model 106, six-tuber from Detroit Radio. Great stylish forms includes "waterfall," fluted sides, one of which is vented for the 6-inch speaker whose cone is perfect, clean chassis and contrasting wood tones. The radio has a much tailored form, and plays extremely well from a six tube super-het chassis. What a gorgeous 6-1/2" multicolored dial which is even more extreme when back lit with 2 pilot lights. On the dial center is "Detrola Network Dial" is stated "Pat. Pending" & this all overlays a pic of N & S America... cool dial all over. Correct wooden knobs and even factory wooden back. The cabinet has been refinished and has with beautiful contrasting woods as you can clearly see. Restored and plays very well with great volume and clarity with short wire antenna. 15"W x 11-1/2"H x 9"D.
