Crosley 718 (1939)
(wood tube table radio w/SW)

Crosley 718 (1939)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a great looking & playing pre-war Crosley from my personal collection. It is an older restore both electronically and finish-wise, but plays loud and clear, picking up all my locals & beyond. Plays on both bands with short wire antenna (supplied). It is a seven-tuber counting the very bright green tuning eye that shows thru the multi-colored (red, green, & white) dial. Very clear graphics which include the station call letters of the day. Simply beautiful dial. It maintains original speaker, knobs, dial, Bakelite escutcheon and push buttons which also work properly. The Bakelite escutcheon is perfect with no shrinkage, cracks, repairs, etc. It even has some white swirling thru it as it surrounds both the dial & pushbuttons. The cabinet design gives a hint of Ingraham with its wraparound fluted right end (grille area for diagonally mounted speaker) & then dipping into a beautiful burled walnut front. The top is also book matched burl walnut in great condition. The trim areas were toned giving the cabinet an even more proper, Deco, cooler look. It will be a nice addition to any collection. 15"W x 9"H x 9"D.
