FADA 1000 Catalin "Bullet" (1946)
(Catalin tube table radio)

FADA 1000 Catalin "Bullet" (1946)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a true classic in that Deco industrial design from FADA. The "Bullet" or sometimes called the Streamliner is highly desired by collectors, particularly in these radiant colors of butterscotch with red trim. There are no cracks, chips , major scratches no repro parts nor cabinet repairs to this example. All original! Even the full factory back with graphics and loop antenna intact. Other than very, very minor wear, the example is outstanding. It is a recent restore, playing very well across the dial picking up all my locals and beyond. Nice clean, rust-free chassis. "Eye Candy" for most any collection. Excellent in every way. It is a duplicate in my collection else not available. The FADA Bullet is one of the most collectible of Catalin radios, The classic an "All American Five." Shipping weight approx. 12 pounds. I pack very well using oversized, heavy duty box with lots of new padding. 10-1/2"W x 6"H x 5-1/4"D.
