Motorola 7A "Aero-Vane" (1941)
(wood tube table radio)

Motorola 7A "Aero-Vane" (1941)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a cute, small, six-tube, restored, wooden Motorola 7A set with pushbuttons and factory back which is normally missing due to the formed material it is made from. This is called Aero-Vane as written on back. I believe this is early 40's (1941?). Factory dial (nicely lit), knobs, speaker, pushbuttons, etc. The dial cloth has been replaced with era correct cloth. I consider this on the rare side as I have searched the net as well as all my books and cannot find a thing written about this model, not even pics. Most of the paper factory tag is on the bottom + the model 7A is stamped there + on back. This is a recent restore and plays well across the dial picking up all my locals and beyond. No external antenna needed. The previous owner did a cabinet refinish and it displays very well. There are two small blemishes on right hand side view but not all that detracting. Nice start or addition to your collection. Weighs approx. 6 lbs. 12"W x 7"H x 7"D.
