Emerson EP-375 Catalin (1941)
(Catalin tube table radio)

Emerson EP-375 Catalin (1941)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a cool Emerson EP-375 "5+1" Catalin radio in a beautiful marbleized yellow cabinet with brown trim, manufactured by Emerson Radio & Television in 1941. It is near perfect with no cracks, chips, repairs or major scratches. Recent complete electronic restore and plays loud & clear across the dial picking up all my locals and beyond. Radio has original brown grille bars and knobs. Water-slide decal and clear dial plastic cover also appear original. This original radio has taken on a beautiful rich yellow patina accentuated by the streaks of brown, light yellow + clear that run throughout the cabinet (eye candy for sure). Sorry for reflections; not flaws. This is the model without handle and rivets which seems to be the preference of most collectors. Nice repro fac. back. This model has become known to collectors as the 5+1 due to the unique insert grille bar layout. All bar segments are evenly curved and no warpage with only one of them with a very light scratch which can hardly be seen nor felt. About 9-1/2"W x 5-3/4"H x 4-3/4"D.
