Zenith 5-S-319 (1939)
(wood tube table radio w/SW)

Zenith 5-S-319 (1939)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is the classic Zenith "Racetrack" with big, bright lighted dial and is a highly sought-after and excellent performing radio. It is a five-tube Superheterodyne, with Broadcast and Short Wave bands (550-1700 KC, 5.5-18.5 MC). Recent restored and plays great on both bands using a short wire antenna (supplied), picking up all my locals and beyond. The beautiful, lighted, gold dial and tuning is excellent and the push-button selectors all work properly. Appears to be original finish as the faux finished band is still intact (most often removed via cabinet refinish) on right hand side as you can see. Just as good as pics show. The knobs, dial, push buttons, grille cloth all appear original and looks stunning. The factory tag on bottom is complete as well. Chassis is super clean, no rust! Excellent condition for an 84 yr old radio showing very, very, very little wear... simply nice! This would be a wonderful addition to any collection. Shipped weight is 18 lbs. 13"W x 9"H x 8"D.
