Emerson 540A "Emersonette" (1947)
(Plaskon tube table radio)

Emerson 540A "Emersonette" (1947)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a "pixie" ivory Plaskon "Emersonette" in great condition. Beautiful example of this iconic and highly collectible midget radio. Positively no scratches, no blemishes, no repairs nor imperfections inside no out. Flawless waffle grille, original grille cloth, factory bullet style knobs, dial, and cardboard back which protrudes out in bubble form to encase the loop antenna. This set is in immaculate condition. Rate it a 9.5 out of 10. It still retains its original glossy finish (even the bottom). It is the five-tube All American Five with very clean chassis and perfect original speaker. The dial lights up beautifully in the dark. It plays very well for such a small set. This has been a part of my smoke free home for several years & has been recapped, all tubes checked & replaced where needed as well as resistors...no shortcuts on restore. Ready to display and play! It will not disappoint. About 6-1/2"W x 4-3/4"H x 3-1/4"D.
