-or- The Message that Saved the Ship. This 218-page 1922 book is the second in a series by Allen Chapman. Both young and old will relish reading the exciting adventures in early radio. From the book's Forward written by Jack Binns, the well-known radio expert of the New York Tribune, "There is no doubt about the interesting of broadcasting; and equally, there is no doubt about the importance of radio as a means of lifesaving." With this thought in mind, I think that the present volume, detailing the adventures of the Radio Boys, serves a very useful purpose in that it forcibly portrays the use of wireless to bring aid to a disabled ship on the high seas in a storm. The blue cloth cover is faded with minimal wear due to 100 years of reading enjoyment. All pages are present and complete and have not been dog eared reflecting how it has been valued. $40.00.
