THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This streamlined Art Deco radio is a rare pre-war "rabbit" whose dial and dial scale are different than its much more common post-war 6D111 cousin. Aside from the new power cord, this example is all original. Its Bakelite cabinet in marbled natural brown is in mint condition, free of any cracks, chips, hairlines or scratches. It has been serviced by the previous owner and picks up all my local stations loud and clear across the AM dial with its built-in loop antenna. Its pre-sets are fully functioning. This is one of Belmont's most collectable and valuable sets, and it's especially rare to find one in this condition. Truly an exceptional addition to the best of radio collections. Another great radio from my personal, smoke-free radio collection. About 12"W x 7"H x 6"D. |
