RCA 1X56 (1952)
(plastic tube table radio)

RCA 1X56 (1952)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

All American Five-tube "golden throat" RCA that sounds as good as a much larger table model. Plays strong across the AM dial. Cabinet is molded in red plastic and displays well. Unfortunately it has a crack from front to back on the top. Still a very nice looking radio, with its center tuning knob and off/on/volume knob placed discreetly on the side. It has a fiber optic style dial pointer that glows red on the tip! Very impressive in a darkened room. Radio has been serviced with new filter and paper capacitors, strong set of tested tubes, new line cord. 11-1/2"W x 8-1/2"H x 6-1/2"D.
