Zenith 5-D-610 (1942)
(plastic tube table radio)

Zenith 5-D-610 (1942)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

One of the last sets produced in early 1942 before production of civilian radios ceased until late 1945. This little All American Five-tube set is very sensitive, receiving stations up and down the AM (only) band with its powerful built in "famous" Zenith "Wave Magnet" antenna. It has been completely gone through with a strong set of tubes, all new capacitors, resistors changed as needed. New polarized line cord. New exact reproduction "Z" embossed knobs and new laser cut back cover made to original specifications and graphics. New crystal clear dial cover. Cabinet is in very nice condition with two minor stress cracks around the chassis mounting screws on the underside that have been reinforced on the inside of the cabinet and will not cause any problems. The original, natural finish cabinet still retains a decent shine. A nice small pre-War set that won't take up a lot of room. 12"W x 7"H x 6-1/2"D.
