THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This popular machine age, Art Deco inspired Sonora, dubbed the "Topper," was produced for several years. This is the somewhat scarce first year model that uses the early octal tubes with grid caps (12K7 instead of the later 12SK7, etc). Five-tube AM reception with built in "sonorascope" loop antenna. Plays loud and strong across the dial. The chassis has been gone through with all new filter and paper capacitors, resistors checked, strong tested set of tubes, new line cord, controls cleaned and lubricated. Push buttons function. New back cover patterned after the original. Cabinet has a fresh coat of antique white enamel. Compact size with lots of style. About 10-1/2"W x 6-1/2"H x 6-1/2"D. |
