Crosley 517 "Fiver" (1937)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

Crosley 517 "Fiver" (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

The compact 1937-38 Fiver tombstones are very popular due to their smaller size and the beautiful gold mirror dial that really pops in a dark room. This is a five-tube set with a 5-inch speaker. Two band, AM/Shortwave. Receives all the local stations with a long wire antenna attached. Strong tested tubes, all capacitors have been replaced, resistors checked & replaced as needed. New line cord. Controls cleaned and lubricated for smooth operation. Cabinet was nicely refinished at some point and looks good with a few minor blemishes. New grille cloth. A nice sized tombstone that doesn't take up a lot of room. 12-1/2"H x 10-1/2"W x 7-1/2"D.
