THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Popular five-tube AM/Shortwave compact cube design Zenith from their halcyon year, 1938. Features the trademark big black dial surrounded by a gold escutcheon, gold lightning bolt dial pointer, "Z" emblazoned knobs and inconspicuous side mounted speaker. The wood cabinet has been repaired and totally refinished with toners to highlight the multi grain veneers. Topped with a light coat of clear enamel for durability and sheen, the grille cloth is the original pattern. The chassis has been gone through with all new wax and filter capacitors, a strong tested set of tubes. The controls were cleaned and lubricated to make them move smoothly. It plays well with lots of volume, easily receiving all of my local stations with an antenna connected to its attached long-wire. You can also use the aux cable to stream your own audio, too! 12"W x 10-1/2"H x 10"D.
