| First time on Radio Attic for this rainbow sundial AM/FM Westinghouse! Bold eye-catching front panel with large dial pointer and four controls on the two knobs (the inner rings are for tone and tuning, while the outer knobs are off/on/volume and the band selector). This example has been gone through with all new filter and paper capacitors, strong tested set of tubes, controls cleaned and lubricated. Selenium rectifier replaced with a diode for safety. It plays loud and clear across the AM and FM bands with its built-in loop antenna, easily receiving all of my local stations. The cabinet is very nice for being 71 years old, with an all-natural crack free finish. It has an amazing dark cherry marble swirl pattern that really pops under bright lights. In addition, I also added my 3.5mm aux cord for even more listening options beyond AM & FM! 14"W x 8-1/4"H x 8-1/2"D. |
