THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Crosley produced a lot of these five-tube, AM/SW workhorses in the early post-war years, but most were housed in a plastic cabinet. This is the fancier wood cabinet version and is only the third example to appear on Radio Attic. It's been totally refinished using multiple color toners and topped with a light spray of clear enamel. It has been gone through with all new filter and paper capacitors, strong tested set of tubes, new line cord, controls cleaned and lubricated. It plays strong across the dial with its large copper loop antenna. Short wave reception is stronger at night. 3.5mm aux cord installed for more listening options. Original cardboard back cover is intact. 13-1/2"W x 8-1/2"H x 7"D. |
