THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Philco used this cabinet beginning in 1938 on various models, with this one being the last. But a sharp looking cabinet it is. Crack free natural finish with a bold marble swirl pattern. Original grille cloth and back cover intact, new clear dial cover. The chassis on this one has been totally recapped, weak tubes replaced, new line-cord and controls cleaned and lubricated for smooth operation. The antenna coil was open and impossible to rewind, so a close suitable replacement from a parts chassis was utilized. It receives most of my local stations with its built in loop antenna, being a bit weaker on the lower end due to the difference in ant. coils. But it has a large 5-inch speaker and sounds fantastic with my iPod using the 3.5 aux cord. 12"W x 8-1/4"H x 7"D.
