General Electric 422 (1951)
(plastic tube table radio)

General Electric 422 (1951)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This six-tube GE boasts some totally unique features. Chief being the amazing natural finish marble swirl cabinet. Just look at the top view photo: it's as impressive as a Catalin! It has a few superficial scratches here and there but no cracks anywhere. Golden trim around the dial bezel and caramel color molded knobs accentuate the amazing cabinet. Another unique feature is the dial light. The bulb is behind the dial pointer, and follows it across the dial as you tune! Plays very strong across the dial with its built-in loop antenna. Or use the attached 3.5mm aux cord to play your own content. All electrolytic and paper caps have been replaced, tubes tested strong, controls were cleaned and lubricated. 13"W x 9"H x 8"D.
