THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This was a nice entry level shortwave set in 1946 and is getting rarer to find, especially in this condition. The receiver is a four band superheterodyne tuning .54 to 32 megacycles. It is the first one in the S-38 series and the only one that has six tubes rather than the five that came with the later models. It has been electronically restored and plays well on all bands with a 25ft or more external antenna. It has all the original knobs, back, bottom and speaker. |
