Zenith A-600 Leather Trans-Oceanic (1958)
(suitcase tube portable radio w/SW)

Zenith A-600 Leather Trans-Oceanic (1958)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is great playing as well as a nice looking radio. The Brown Leather case is in very good condition with a couple of small dings. The Brown Leather sold for about a $100 more than the Black Stag. The dial cover has very small cracks around a couple of screws with the rest of it superb. If you have ever bought a radio from me, you know that this one is going to play like new. All the electrolyte and wax caps have been replaced and the radio has been aligned for peak performance. All tubes are good and all parts are authentic. It is an awesome AM and Short-wave player and it comes at a very reasonable price. I am including a battery box which you put in the bottom of the back (see pic). You just have to attach the AC cord end to the case to switch the radio from AC to DC. This means you can play it with just ten "D" cell batteries and the light switch will work. Almost like being on a Cruise Ship in the 1950's.
