Jackson-Bell 84 "Peter Pan" (1931)
(wood tube cathedral radio)

Jackson-Bell 84 "Peter Pan" (1931)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

One of the most novel of small sized cathedral radios. These four-tube radios offered an inexpensive price and allowed us to have a radio in rooms other than the main living room. This was produced in Los Angeles and these radios are particularly scarce and the distribution was primary in the western states. This radio works best with a good measure of antenna, and in urban locations. A four-tube radio is limited in performance, but this set works great with the auxiliary connection and Bluetooth module. Seldom do you find such a terrific example. The radio retains the original finish in fine shape, factory speaker cloth and knobs. This is a fine purist caliber example. Note the dramatic way the radio was made with a dental mold base and brass tag on the front. Note the radio retains the globe tubes of the era. They perform as good as new! My technician has done a terrific restoration so you should enjoy many years of reliable use.He added a mini-jack for your auxiliary input device. I think you will be impressed in every respect with this radio. AM transmitter and Bluetooth options are available starting at $25! Click here for details! 13"H x 9"W x 6"D.
