General Electric J-54 (1941)
(Bakelite tube table radio)

General Electric J-54 (1941)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Pre-War GE radio in an incredible swirled Bakelite case. I don't understand what manufacturing process GE used to produce these beautiful radio cases, but they are some of the most eye-catching ever made. A classic design and a very beautiful glass dial. This case has no cosmetic damage, no chips, cracks or hairline cracks. The radio is playing fine, picking up all my local AM stations with no filter hum. The knobs are original, and the back is a Retro-Tronics exact replacement. Also there is a complete label on the bottom. About 10-1/2"W x 7"H x 6"D.
