FADA Series 33 (1940)
(cloth/leather tube portable radio)

FADA Series 33 (1940)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

A FADA portable from the company which set the standard in Catalin radios. Leather covering with completely original & working leather handle and straps. They are almost always rotted away after 70+ years. Front case brass clasp works fine. Nice brass front & contrasting original orange knobs. This is a battery portable, works on three "D" cells and a 67.5V. I hooked it up to a series of 9 volts, and the radio played great, picking up all my local stations. About 8"H x 4-1/2"W x 4"D.
