THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Cute little Detrola midget portable from around 1940 in super nice original condition. The case is made from Tenite plastic, and is in completely undamaged condition. Tenite is a brand of cellulosic thermoplastic material. Even the fabric covering is in excellent shape. The handle is original & not broken. This is a battery set that operates on a 67V battery and two "D" cell batteries. At one point in the past, I bought a new 67V battery, and the radio is working & playing well with all its batteries in place. The radio will include the batteries. When the door is opened, the radio begins playing. Close the door and click it shut, the radio turns off. The Tenite has a Catalin-like color. About 8-1/2"H x 4"W x 4"D.
