THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This 1938 Mantola is truly one of the most Art Deco radios ever designed. This is an extremely hard set to find. Mantola was the house brand for radios sold by B.F. Goodrich. These sets were made for Goodrich by other manufacturers, many by Admiral (Continental Radio). It has been completely restored cosmetically by a professional in black lacquer. The chassis has been fully checked, and everything that required changing was replaced. The radio plays perfectly. Great dial, original knobs. No back. A real standout in any collection. The design has that Zenith "pancake" styling. About 9"W x 7"H x 6"D. |
