THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Beautifully completely restored Art Deco Belmont radio from 1946. This model is renowned for its beautifully colorful half moon dial, its clock dial pointer, and its great curvy bullet shaped design. The original back is on the set and in excellent condition. Most backs are in very poor shape. No cosmetic issues and no repairs to the case were made. Original knobs and six push buttons. The radio has been gone over by a professional, all tubes and capacitors needing changing were changed, and the radio is playing great, picking up all my local AM stations clearly and several distant stations at night. Most of the label in on the bottom. This is one of the most collectible radios ever made, and its design looks much older than its post War date. A great Art Deco radio sized at about 12"W x 6-1/2"H x 7-1/2"D. |
