Truetone D-2610 (1946)
(Bakelite tube table radio)

Truetone D-2610 (1946)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

A must have in any collection, this Truetone is in pristine condition, near mint. The case has no cosmetic issues or repairs and also has a beautiful large colorful dial and undamaged dial cover. The brown Bakelite case still exhibits a new "in the store, on the shelf" shine. The "Truetone" name is illuminated when the radio is on. It was originally sold in Western Auto Stores, and it's 100% original, with metal back cover. The radio chassis has been serviced by a pro, and is playing clearly picking up all my local AM stations. This radio exhibits an Art Deco design and smooth lines much earlier than its 1946 date. It's almost midget sized at 10"W x 7"H x 6"D.
