Philco 48-225 (1948)
(plastic tube table radio)

Philco 48-225 (1948)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

A beautiful deep red/maroon 1948 Philco in a polystyrene case that's in really nice cosmetic condition. Very few rubs or scratches, and no cracks or hairline cracks. It has a deep red color. This radio was featured in the "Brooklyn Bridge" TV series which ran in the 1990's on CBS about a Jewish family growing up in Brooklyn, NY. This radio was always shown in son Michael's bedroom by his bed. The radio plays clearly, has been recapped and gone over by a pro, and picks up all my local AM stations and more at night. It has a perfect FYLP replacement back on the set. About 9"W x 7"H x 6"D.
